PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal guide member which performs positioning of an upper member to a lower member and a pin terminal and functions also as a jig when the pin terminal is mounted on the upper member, a semiconductor device using such the terminal guide member, and a method for manufacturing the semiconductor device.SOLUTION: A terminal guide member 10 includes vertical direction extended parts 11 and 12 and a horizontal direction extended part 15. A guide hole part 19 into which a pin terminal 30 is inserted is formed in the horizontal direction extended part 15. When the lower vertical direction extended part 12 is mounted on the upper surface of a lower member 20, the upper end of the upper vertical direction extended part 11 is positioned at a position higher than the upper end of the pin terminal 30. When the upper end of the upper vertical direction extended part 11 and the pin terminal 30 are mounted on the upper member 60, the pin terminal 30 is inserted into an insertion hole 62 formed in the lower surface of the upper member 60 and is not fixed to the guide hole part 19. The cross sectional area of the smallest portion of the guide hole 19 is smaller than that of the insertion hole 62.
