<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance property of a tilted cylinder hole in a swash plate type motor or a swash plate type pump.SOLUTION: A swash plate type motor (or a swash plate type pump) has a tilted cylinder hole for slidably holding a tilted piston so as to modify an angle of a swash plate, and a circumferential surface of the tilted cylinder hole 9 is formed with a hardened part 20 under processing of laser hardening along a circumferential direction of the tilted cylinder hole 9. Both hardening operation start position and hardening finish position of the hardened part 20 are applied in a range from a position where a load received from the swash piston 8 at the circumferential surface of the tilted cylinder hole 9 becomes minimum in respect to a circumferential direction of the tilted cylinder hole 9 to low load ranges C1, C2 of ±60 degree and the hardened part 20 is formed over the low load ranges C1, C2.</p> |
