The present invention provides an unmanned travelling vehicle management control system that can realize travel in which inter-vehicle distance is maintained and there is no interference between vehicles. The vehicle management control system is provided with the following: onboard control devices mounted in a plurality of vehicles; a management control device that divides travel routes for the plurality of vehicles into a plurality of sectors and performs obstruction control that allocates to the vehicles, as allowed travel sectors, travelable sectors in which there is no mutual overlap between the plurality of vehicles; and a communication means that communicates between the management control device and the onboard control devices. The onboard control devices determine an travel allowance request start distance as a distance that is longer than the distance within which an own vehicle can stop from the current speed, and when the remaining sector length for the allowed travel sector in the direction of travel of the own vehicle becomes less than the travel allowance request start distance, the onboard control devices repeatedly send travel allowance requests and own vehicle current position information to the management control device until the next travel allowance is obtained. |
