The invention relates to a system for harvesting electrical energy accumulated in the form of heat in the surfaces of urban paving and building claddings that are directly exposed to the infrared radiation of the sun, which system, using science and engineering of materials, is intended to maintain and increase a large temperature differential between the external face of the material that is oriented towards the sun and the material that is used as thermal ground. The greater the heat differential, the greater the speed of heat transfer and the greater the quantity of electrical voltage generated. In order to increase the emf (electromotive force) produced, it is necessary to arrange multiple infrared solar energy-harvesting collectors in the form of an array in large built-up areas exposed to the sun (See Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3), and to connect same in parallel and/or in series, according to the electrical power requirements of the anticipated consumption of the electrified archi tectural and urban works. The system includes an electronic circuit for the purposes of control, storage, regulation, alternating and distribution in order to be able to supply energy with characteristics that are suited to the consumption requirements of urban spaces and buildings (See Fig. 4). By transforming the heat accumulated in the mass of the materials forming the urban paving and cladding, the urban heat island effect is reduced, partially dissipating the heat in the form of electricity that is used for activities in the city (As is comprehensively explained and repeated in the claims, as well as in Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. with the general common components (1) to (32) of same, and the report on emf, presented in the document). |
