The present invention relates to a method for producing bioethanol from wood-based biomass. According to the method, the biomass is extracted with hot water before pretreatment in order to remove extractable substances such as inorganic salts. Therefore, an impurity content of an enzymatic hydrolysis material can be minimized. Moreover, generation of over-decomposed sugar products is inhibited as much as possible by pretreating the biomass from which the extractable substance is removed by hot water under a condition maximizing the xylan yield. Subsequently, fermentable sugar can be produced at low costs by only concentrating a sugar solution, obtained by enzymatic saccharification of the pre-treated solid content obtained by a solid-liquid separation without washing the solid content with water, with a separation membrane. Therefore, bioethanol can be produced at a high yield.
|
