摘要 In the present invention, there are described compounds NaGdSi2, NaLuSi2, NaYSi2, KLaSi2, KGdSi2, KYSi2, RbLaSi2, RbGdSi2, RbLuSi2 and RbYSi2 doped with Eue2+, wherein the concentration ratio of the EU range is 0.0001 to 3 percent by mole. When irradiated by roentgen rays, these compounds emit within the wavelengths of 498 to 779 nm. The compounds can be used for the detection of ionizing radiation by solid state-type detectors. Thanks to the presence of intense excitation bands in the near UV to blue spectrum and emission in the broad range of wavelengths within 498 to 779 nm, these compounds can be used for the construction of LED light sources with the use of an excitation source of 350 to 460 nm.
