<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve availability in a system for carrying out backup of data. <P>SOLUTION: A backup data generating device 2 includes: a backup data generating portion 21 for generating data for restoring a state of the backup data generating device 2; a backup data transmitting portion 22 for transmitting the generated backup data to an online memory device; a metadata generating portion 23 for generating backup metadata including information about the generation and transmission of the backup data; a metadata transmitting portion 24 for transmitting the backup metadata to a metadata management device; a metadata display portion 25 for obtaining and indicating the backup metadata aggregated by the metadata management device; a backup data receiving portion 26 for receiving the backup data stored in the online memory device; and a restoration part 27 for restoring the state of the backup data generating device on the basis of the obtained backup data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
