The description is of a moulded rod made of a synthetic, recyclable plastic material, configured to look like a rod made of natural fibre, designed and sized for the manufacture of elements for enclosures, decoration and screening of spaces. The rod comprises a substantially lengthened body of variable length, hollow inside, with a cross section which may be circular, flattened, ellipsoidal, and oval or another polygonal shape. The plastic material may consist of foamed PVC and include a sawdust-based additional filler which gives it the desired appearance. The external surface of the rod has thickenings along its length, at variable distances apart, which simulate the knots, buds or shoots of the natural product. |
