<p>The invention relates to a printing machine control system with a soft proof device comprising at least one color consistent monitor (7) and with a color control device comprising at least one sensor (8), wherein the soft proof device changes at least one soft proof into display data (6) of a monitor color space; the soft proof serves as a color-consistent reference for printing samples printed in a printing process for the visualization of pre stage data (3) that are present in a print pre stage color space. The color control device compares measured actual data (9) of the sensor, or of each sensor, or data generated from the measured actual data (11), with associated target data (13) and creates control signals for actuators of the color control device depending on the comparison results. According to the invention, at least one device (14, 15) changes the print pre stage data (3) of the print pre stage color space and/or the display data (6) of the monitor color space into reference data (13) of a colorimetric color space, wherein the reference data (13) generated from the data (3, 6) of the soft proof device serve as target data of the color control device in such a way that the device generates control signals for the actuators of the color control device from a comparison of the measured actual data (9) of the sensor, or of each sensor, or from the data generated from the measured actual data (11), with the reference data (13).</p> |
