<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system with an antireflective structure having favorable antireflective performance avoiding the elongation of a time necessary for forming the antireflective structure. <P>SOLUTION: The optical system includes on at least one of a plurality of optical surfaces an antireflective structure 3 formed with a plurality of convexoconcaves 3a and 3b at a pitch p and satisfies the following formula. In the formula, λ<SB POS="POST">min</SB>represents a minimum wavelength in an optical wavelength range entering the optical system, n<SB POS="POST">1</SB>represents a refractive index of medium in a light incident side with respect to the optical surface formed with the antireflective structures, n<SB POS="POST">2</SB>represents a refractive index of medium in the light emission side with respect to the optical surface, θ<SB POS="POST">1max</SB>(x) represents a maximum incident angle entering a position x in the optical surface, and θ<SB POS="POST">2max</SB>(x) represents a maximum emission angle of the light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
