<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system with an antireflective structure having favorable antireflective performance avoiding the elongation of a time necessary for forming the antireflective structure. <P>SOLUTION: The optical system includes on at least one of a plurality of optical surfaces an antireflective structure 3 formed with a plurality of convexoconcaves 3a and 3b at a pitch p and satisfies the following formula.
