<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troubles due to incompatibility between an image forming apparatus and an application with respect to various models of image forming apparatuses and various versions of applications therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an start control means for starting an application program and a sequential execution program, within the image forming apparatus, from a storage medium storing thereon the application program and the sequential execution program for sequentially executing an application program translated by a translation program. When the application program stored in the storage medium is started in the image forming apparatus, the start control means automatically selects the sequential execution program of a version suited to the image forming apparatus among the sequential execution programs of a plurality of versions stored in the storage medium, thereby starting the program in the relevant image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
