<p>The present invention relates to a method for extracting a target vehicle when multiple vehicles exist using the tail lights of a vehicle in a multiple vehicle tracking system and, more specifically, to a system which measures a gap between two tail lights of a vehicle to generate a target vehicle candidate, checks whether the target vehicle candidate is a target vehicle through the color information of the target vehicle to search the target vehicle, and continually updates the color information of the searched target vehicle to check a vehicle matched with the color information of the target vehicle from successive frames, continually tracking the checked vehicle.</p> |
