<p>PURPOSE: A structure for reinforcing the tunnel unit of a vehicle is provided to enhance NVH performance by preventing the shaking of the tunnel unit by minimizing the stress concentration and reinforcing the rigidity of the tunnel unit. CONSTITUTION: A structure for reinforcing the tunnel unit of a vehicle comprises a tunnel unit, a front reinforcing member(30), a rear reinforcing member, and a side reinforcing member. The tunnel unit is prepared on the top center of a floor panel(10). The tunnel unit comprises a high tunnel section and a low tunnel section. The high tunnel section has a predetermined height in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. The low tunnel section is extended backward from the high tunnel section to have a lower height than the high tunnel unit. The front reinforcing member is horizontally installed on the bottom of the floor panel of a position, which corresponds to the interface of the high and low tunnel sections.</p> |
