PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for avoiding it as much as possible that it is difficult for a player to grasp the progress of a variable display game from the display state of a variable display portion.SOLUTION: A game machine comprises: a display substrate having a variable display portion capable executing a variable display game; a control device for performing the control of the variable display game; and an electric wiring for connecting the display substrate and the control device. On the basis of the result of the variable display game, the game machine can establish a special game state. The variable display portion is constituted of a plurality of light emitting members. The control device changes the light emission state of a predetermined light emitting member of the variable display portion thereby to display that the variable display game is being executed, and displays missed result or a hit result by lighting the light emitting members. On the display substrate, there is mounted a substrate side connector arrayed with a plurality of pins corresponding to the light emitting members. A one-end side connector of the electric wiring is connected with said substrate side connector. The substrate side connector is set such that the arrangement of the pins corresponding to the light emitting members for displaying at least the missed result is not a row end portion of the pin array.
