The invention comprises dyes of the general formula wherein R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> are substituted or unsubstituted alkyl radicals; R<SP>3</SP> is hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl radical, and A is a substituted or unsubstituted p-phenylene radical, the dyes being free from ionic watersolubilizing groups. They are prepared by diazotization and coupling of the corresponding amines and coupling components. The dyes give yellow, red and violet shades on cellulose acetate and synthetic polyester and polyamide materials. |
