Disclosed are a driving convenience system using a mobile terminal and a driving assistance method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the driving assistance method takes a photograph of a front part of a vehicle, receives information related to a vehicle operation, and arranges and indicates the information about a vehicle operation on a photographed image of the front part of the vehicle. Therefore, the present invention provides a same function to a driver through the mobile terminal without an expensive vehicle head-up display. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a function of a black box can be provided through an existing mobile terminal without installing an additional black box.
