A receive node device includes a processor coupled to a memory. The processor is configured to report a first sub-index and to report at least one additional second sub-index for each one of one or more matrices. Each one of the one or more matrices is indexed by the first sub-index and the second sub-index. The first sub-index and the second sub-index have different time-frequency reporting granularity.

a processor coupled to a memory, wherein the processor is configured to report a first sub-index k1 of a plurality of first sub-indices and to report a second sub-index k2 of a plurality of second sub-indices; wherein the first sub-index k1 and the second sub-index k2 are reported by the receive node device on a periodic physical uplink control channel (PUCCH); wherein the first sub-index k1 and the second sub-index k2 correspond to a matrix W which represents channel state information (CSI); and wherein the plurality of the first sub-indices are a subset of all possible first sub-indices, and the plurality of second sub-indices are a subset of all possible second sub-indices, such that the number of combinations of the first sub-index k1 and the second sub-index k2 of the plurality of first sub-indices and second sub-indices reported by the receive node device is smaller than the number of possible combinations of the first sub-index kl and the second sub-index k2 of all possible first sub-indices and second sub-indices.
