A method of manufacturing a display panel, the method comprising: forming a first polymeric film on a first base substrate, the first base substrate comprising a plurality of unit pixel areas, each of the unit pixel areas comprising a plurality of sub pixel areas arranged in a matrix shape; spraying air on the first polymeric film along a first negative direction in the sub pixel areas of an n-th row of a unit pixel area, and spraying air on the first polymeric film along a first positive direction opposite to the first negative direction in the sub pixel areas of an (n+1)-th row of the unit pixel area to form a first alignment layer, wherein n is a natural number; forming a second polymeric film on a second base substrate, the second base substrate comprising the unit pixel areas, each of the unit pixel areas comprising the sub pixel areas arranged in a matrix shape; spraying air on the second polymeric film along a second negative direction crossing the first negative direction in the sub pixel areas of an n-th column of the unit pixel area, and spraying air on the second polymeric film along a second positive direction crossing the first positive direction in the sub pixel areas of an (n+1)-th column of the unit pixel area to form a second alignment layer; wherein material “C” forms a vertically expressed ingredient of said first and second alignment layers and is inclined to said direction by said sprayed air; wherein material “C” comprises a moiety selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, and imide; and, injecting a liquid crystal material between the first and second base substrates and sealing the liquid crystal material.
