摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power generation efficiency during external power supply.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes: an engine; a first MG generating electric power by using the power of the engine; a power storage device storing the electric power generated by the first MG; an inlet for supplying the electric power stored in the power storage device to the outside; an ECU; and an outside air temperature sensor detecting outside air temperature of the vehicle. The ECU, in a period in which the electric power is supplied from the inlet, starts the engine when an SOC (state of charge) of the power storage device is less than a lower limit value S0 of a control range, and stops the engine when the SOC is more than upper limit values S1, S2 of the control range. The ECU sets the upper limits values to increase it according to falling of the outside air temperature detected by the outside air temperature sensor.
