PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a leather fabric with beautiful appearance improved by giving continuity of leather on an outer surface as well as improved texture of lining.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a leather fabric comprises following processes: to cut a piece of leather 4 into thin strips in parallel except for a selvage 42 of the leather 4; to maintain the leather 4 with the selvage 42 and extract a leather piece 41 by cutting the salvage 42 off; to inweave a weft 3 using a warp 2 except for a leather maintaining warp 21 that is intermittently placed; and to pass the extracted leather piece 41 between the woven weft 3 and the leather maintaining warp 21. When the leather piece 41 on an upper stage is woven into a leather fabric, a leather piece 41 neighbouring the extracted leather piece 41 is extracted to be woven between another leather maintaining warp 21 and the weft 3.
