<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train control system capable of suppressing an occurrence of high-speed passing-each-other of trains.SOLUTION: A train control system is applied to two routes R1 and R2 including a passing-each-other section P where passing-each-other of a high speed train TA and a low speed train TB occurs. Based on a running state of the high speed train TA (running position and running speed) and a running state of the low speed train TB (running position and running speed), the train control system predicts a position where the passing-each-other of the high speed train TA and the low speed train TB in the passing-each-other section P starts, and controls (slows down) the running speed of the high speed train TA on the basis of the predicted position where the passing-each-other starts.</p> |
