PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anti-16SrRNA methylase (ArmA) antibody, and to provide a detection method of aminoglycoside antibiotic resistant bacteria with high practicality and a kit for detection thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides an antibody to 16SrRNA methylase (ArmA), in which the amino acid sequence MDKNDVVKKILESKKYENLDSDIVEKVVSISEKKYKLKEVENYSKKKLHQIWGSYYSAYPNWDKLLKKYNQGQLSIEDLLKIHSSTNERVATL is an epitope. The invention also provides a method for detecting the resistant bacteria to an aminoglycoside antibiotic, wherein 16SrRNA methylase (ArmA) production fungus is detected using a kit comprising of 16SrRNA methylase (ArmA), or a unique partial protein which recognizes this, or a polypeptide antibody.
