PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core shell catalyst capable of achieving the increase in the performance of the single cells of a fuel battery, and a method for producing the core shell catalyst.SOLUTION: Provided is a core shell catalyst comprising: a palladium-containing core; and a platinum-containing shell covering the core. In the grain size frequency distribution of piece standards, the average particle diameter is 4.70 nm or lower, also, the standard deviation is 2.00 nm or lower, and also, the frequency of the grain sizes of 5.00 nm or lower is 55% or higher, and also provided is a method for producing the same. |
