PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transport mechanism that can reduce unevenness of pressing force at transport roller pairs on left and right sides in an axial direction and avoid weakening pressing force at a center-side.SOLUTION: The sheet transport mechanism includes a drive roller 60, a driven roller 70, and a roller pressing mechanism 80 that presses the driven roller 70 into contact against the drive roller 60. The driven roller 70 includes a central roller 71, and a pair of outside rollers 72. The roller pressing mechanism 80 includes a central pressing mechanism 81, and an outside pressing mechanism 82. The central pressing mechanism 81 has a pair of central pressing members 83 that press both ends of the central roller 71 toward the drive roller 60 side, and a central urging member 84 connected to the pair of central pressing members 83. The outside pressing mechanism 82 has a pair of outside pressing members 88 that press the pair of outside rollers 72 toward the drive roller 60 side, and an outside urging member 89 connected to the pair of outside pressing members 88. |
