PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a local character corresponding to a current region cannot be output according to the current region to which a current position belongs.SOLUTION: A terminal device comprises: a character management information storage unit for storing one or more pieces of character management information in which region information showing a region and a character image showing a character corresponding to the region are associated with each other; a current position information acquisition unit for acquiring current position information showing a current position; a character image acquisition unit for acquiring a character image with which region information showing a current region is associated, from the character management information storage unit; an acceptance unit for accepting an output instruction for outputting current region related information which is related to a current region; and an output unit for outputting the character image acquired by the character image acquisition unit together with the current region related information corresponding to the output instruction. The terminal device enables a local character corresponding to a current region to be output according to the current region to which a current position belongs.
