<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biochip in which a detection target substance in a specimen can be detected with excellent detection sensitivity by applying absorptiometry.SOLUTION: A biochip 1 is to be used for detecting a detection target substance included in a specimen by absorptiometry, and the biochip includes a substrate 10 and a specific antibody (recognition substance) 41 immobilized to a bottom face (carrying face) 21 of the substrate 10 for carrying the detection target substance. The detection target substance is detected by allowing the specific antibody 41 to recognize the detection target substance, then irradiating the bottom face 21 with light, and measuring absorption of light that is transmitted through the bottom face 21. The bottom face 21 of the substrate 10 is configured to have a moth-eye structure.</p> |
