PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted display in which an image visually recognized by a user is unlikely to be deformed even when focus is adjusted.SOLUTION: An enclosure of a head-mounted display (HMD) 1 supports a liquid crystal unit 120 and a half mirror by fixing them, and supports an eyepiece optical system 130 movably in right and left directions. The enclosure is provided with an adjuster 70 for focus adjustment. When a user rotates the adjuster 70, the eyepiece optical system 130 reciprocates along a pair of guide parts in right and left directions. Focus adjustment is made by changing a relative distance between the eyepiece optical system 130, and the half mirror and the liquid crystal unit 120. In this case, the liquid crystal unit 120 is unlikely to be inclined to the right and left directions because the unit remains fixed. |
