PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter and radio communications system using the same, capable of avoiding wasteful power consumption and damage to an apparatus.SOLUTION: A transmitter 10 includes a power amplifier 14 and amplifies electric power with the power amplifier 14 and transmits electric waves. The transmitter 10 includes a power amplifier connection detection section 16 that detects connection with a power amplifier 20, and an output power reduction control section 17 that reduces a gain of the power amplifier 14 by detection of the power amplifier connection detection section 16. |
