<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a coated carbon nanotube, capable of easily forming a coating film on a whole periphery of each carbon nanotube of vertical orientation, and improving the quality.SOLUTION: A coating film 3 is formed on a whole periphery of a carbon nanotube 2 of vertical orientation to manufacture a coated carbon nanotube 1. The carbon nanotube 2 of vertical orientation is arranged on a substrate K made of a material same as the coating film 3, and a material supply board M made of the material same as the coating film 3 is arranged to face the carbon nanotube 2 of vertical orientation. The substrate K on which the carbon nanotube 2 of vertical orientation is arranged and the material supply board M are heated to sublime materials of the substrate K and the material supply board M. The sublimed materials are deposited on the carbon nanotube 2 to form the coating film 3.</p> |
