A chip mounter operating method according to the present invention includes the following steps of: displaying a chip mounter and multiple feeders mounted on the chip mounter on a screen; selecting at least one feeder of the multiple feeders on the screen; and displaying a similar feeder having information matched with the selected feeder among the multiple feeders on the screen in order to be distinguishable from other feeders.
