The present invention provides an affinity ligand with which it is possible to increase the purity of antibodies themselves, which is the main objective of affinity refining, to improve the selectivity of antibody monomers, and to reduce the load on the refining step which follows the removal of antibody polymers. The present invention provides, as a new affinity ligand, a modified protein into which has been introduced a variation so as to increase the number of acidic amino acids in the amino acid sequence of the protein; a method for designing said protein; a method for producing said protein; and an affinity isolation matrix in which said protein is immobilized as a ligand. |
