PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head and a liquid jet device which impart desired light energy to a liquid, and can efficiently dry a liquid droplet.SOLUTION: A liquid jet head includes: a nozzle plate 43 having a plurality of nozzle holes 43a which discharge ink droplets and are arranged side by side; and an actuator plate 40 which is laminated on the nozzle plate 43 and has a plurality of channels 45A, 45B arranged side by side at intervals. The plurality of channels 45A, 45B includes: a plurality of discharge channels 45A in which ink is filled and which communicate respectively to the nozzle holes 43a; and a dummy channel 45B which is formed respectively between the adjacent discharge channels 45A and is filled with gas inside. A light flux for heating the ink discharged from the nozzle holes 43a is propagated to the nozzle plate 43 in the dummy channel 45B by using the gas filled in the dummy channel 45B as a propagation medium.
