PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a device cannot respond within a preset number of ringing when a call is incoming in an energy-save mode.SOLUTION: A ringing number of a calling signal in a pre-measured elapsed time required from when incoming of the calling signal is detected by a sub-CPU 322 until a main CPU 313 is restored to a normal mode is stored in a ROM 314. In the energy-save mode, when the sub-CPU 322 detects incoming of the calling signals via an incoming call detection section 321, it outputs a restoration instruction signal to an energy-save managing section 15, and causes restoration to a normal mode. When the normal mode is restored, the main CPU 313 controls a connection switch section 30 to output the calling signal from the public line network 5 to a modem/calling signal detection section 312, counts the ringing number of the calling signal detected by the modem/calling signal detection section 312 based on the ringing number stored in the ROM 314, and performs an off-hook operation when a count value reaches a defined ringing number N. |
