PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift detecting apparatus that can link a diaphragm, a shifting holder and a drive shaft in a single step of processing and moreover accurately determine the relative positions of the drive shaft and a magnet held by the shifting holder, an actuator, and a method of assembling the actuator.SOLUTION: A metal bush 32 is fitted to a synthetic resin-made shifting holder 10 and, in a state in which a diaphragm 5 is sandwiched between the shifting holder 10 and a metallic supporting member 33, a drive shaft 20 is inserted into the metal bush 32. An empty part 13 is disposed within a holder 12 holding a magnet 14, and the tip 20a of the drive shaft 20 is pressed within the empty part 13 to form a caulked part 23. By providing the empty part 13, the shifting holder 10, the diaphragm 5 and the drive shaft 20 are enabled to be integrally fixed in a single step of caulking. |
