The purpose of the present invention is to prevent molten elastic material from solidifying before forming an elastic part and to improve the dustproof performance of a housing. An optical scanning device is provided with: an opening (104a); dustproofing glass (105); an elastic part (107) for filling a gap between the dustproofing glass (105) and a cover member (104); an inlet (104d) for injecting molten elastic material when forming the elastic part (107); and a channel (104e) into which the molten elastic material injected from the inlet (104d) flows to form the elastic part (107). When the molten elastic material is injected from the inlet (104d) and flows into the channel (104e) to form the elastic part (107), the area of a cross section of the elastic part (107) in the shorter side direction of the opening (104a) on the side near the inlet (104d) is larger than the area of a cross section of the elastic part (107) in the shorter side direction on the side far from the inlet (104d). |
