摘要 The present invention provides a technique of modeling an industrial object such as equipment and the like connected to pipes with high accuracy using only point cloud data of the pipe and the object even when using incompletely scanned 3D data. A method for modeling a 3D industrial object using 3D scanning data according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: by a device for modeling a 3D industrial object using 3D scanning data, selecting a 3D pipe model obtained by modeling a pipe of a structure and object point cloud data which is point cloud data forming a part of an industrial object that is an object corresponding to equipment installed in the structure to be connected to the pipe as an object recognized from 3D scanning data; calculating connection relationship information between the pipes included in the 3D pipe model and the object point cloud data; matching one of the equipment with each object point cloud data by comparing a stored piping and instrument diagram including pipe information, information of the equipment, and connection information between the pipe and the equipment with the calculated connection relationship information; generating a 3D model of the industrial object corresponding to each equipment using at least of the information of the matched equipment, the object point cloud data, and the connection relationship information; and generating a 3D industrial object model by disposing the generated 3D model of the industrial object in the position of the object point cloud data.
