<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support device for vehicle which can call attention of a driver of another vehicle being an oncoming vehicle to a pedestrian existing in a shadow of a vehicle being stopped.SOLUTION: There is provided a drive support device for vehicle which includes: imaging means for imaging the rear side of an own vehicle; image processing means; vehicle velocity detection means; and control means for performing control so as to transmit information on a pedestrian detected by the image processing means to another vehicle via inter-vehicle communication when the vehicle velocity is equal to or less than a previously-set vehicle velocity, or a drive support device for vehicle which includes: imaging means for imaging the front side of the own vehicle; image processing means; vehicle velocity detection means; and control means for performing control so as to transmit information on the pedestrian detected by the image processing means to the other vehicle via the inter-vehicle communication when the vehicle velocity is equal to or less than the previously-set vehicle velocity and the preceding vehicle is detected by the image processing means.</p> |
