A hydraulic oil composition comprising: (a) one or more oils of lubricating viscosity and (b) an effective amount of a friction modifier selected from the group consisting of a fatty phosphite, a fatty imidazoline and combinations thereof, wherein the hydraulic oil composition results in at least a 2% increase in starting efficiency of low-speed high-torque (LSHT) hydraulic motors relative to the same hydraulic oil composition not including the effective amount of the friction modifier. |
