A processing method for a mail schedule assistant, comprising: conducting recognition processing on text of an e-mail to obtain schedule information; and conducting a corresponding operation according to the type of the e-mail and the schedule information. By means of the method, the e-mail content can be combined with a schedule and a conference arrangement, thereby making full use of an e-mail and an electronic calendar, and increasing the working efficiency.
