A control device (20) for a secondary battery (10) using, as a positive electrode material, a positive electrode active material consisting of a solid solution material comprises: a voltage detection means (50) for detecting the actual open-circuit voltage of the secondary battery; an SOC detection means (22) for, based on the actual open-circuit voltage and/or actual current of the secondary battery, detecting the actual SOC; a storage means (24) for storing a voltage-SOC standard curve describing the relationship between the open-circuit voltage and SOC of the secondary battery; an estimated voltage calculation means (26) for calculating an estimated open-circuit voltage from the actual SOC detected by the SOC detection means and the voltage-SOC standard curve stored in the storage means; and a determination means (26) for determining the degree of consistency between the actual open-circuit voltage detected by the voltage detection means and the estimated open-circuit voltage calculated by the estimated voltage calculation means. |
