PERMANENT MAGNET ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE AND ELEVATOR APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure strength of a fitting portion where a rotor core fits in a non-magnetic material, without significantly deteriorating performance of a permanent magnet rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A permanent magnet rotary electric machine includes: a stator; a rotor opposing to the stator in a radial direction via an air gap; and a first non-magnetic material disposed at the inner peripheral side of the rotor. The rotor includes a plurality of rotor cores and a plurality of permanent magnets which are divided in a rotational circumferential direction. The plurality of rotor cores and the plurality of permanent magnets are alternately radially arranged in the rotational circumferential direction of the rotor. The plurality of rotor cores are fitted in the first non-magnetic material at the outer periphery thereof. The rotor core includes iron core holes penetrating the rotor core in a rotation shaft direction. The first non-magnetic material includes non-magnetic material holes penetrating the first non-magnetic material in the rotation shaft direction. On both sides of the rotor in the rotation shaft direction, two second non-magnetic materials are provided. The two second non-magnetic materials are coupled to each other through the iron core holes and the non-magnetic material holes.
