Disclosed are a method and device for setting a language type. The method comprises: reading a language type corresponding to a multimedia file to be played; and according to the language type, playing the multimedia file. The present invention solves the technical problems of inconvenient operation and poor usability existing in the method for setting a language type of a multimedia file in the related art, reduces setting processes each time a user plays a multimedia file, and improves the user experience. |
