A light source unit according to the present invention comprises: a light guide plate having front and rear surfaces facing each other and side surfaces between the front and rear surfaces; a light guide bar which is arranged at the side surfaces of the light guide plate; a quantum dot package which is arranged on one side of the light guide bar; and a point light source which provides light to the quantum dot package. Also provided is a method of manufacturing the light conversion device in an easy way. Also, there is provided a light conversion device free from problems of vapor generation or cracks.
