<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method that prevents drooling phenomenon and air entrainment into a molten resin in an injection molding machine to which a stack mold is attached.SOLUTION: A stack mold (2) is composed of a stationary side mold (31) on the stationary plate (6) side, a movable side mold (32) on the movable plate (10) side, and an intermediate mold (33). A snorkel (40) of a fixed length to introduce a molten resin is installed to the intermediate mold (33) and inserted into an open hole bored in the stationary side mold (31). In an injection molding machine (1), a nozzle (28) of an injection unit (4) is brought into contact with the snorkel (40) by a predetermined touching force. When the stack mold is opened or closed, the injection unit is moved back and forth by driving a servomotor (24) so that the touching force is kept in a predetermined range. The nozzle (28) is thus kept in contact with the snorkel (40) even while the injection molding machine is operated to be opened or closed.</p> |
