PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method for imaging apparatus and driving method for imaging system, capable of suppressing degradation in detection accuracy of a phase difference when lowering resolution of an image generated on the basis of a signal output by an imaging apparatus in order to solve the following problem: detection accuracy of a phase difference is degraded when lowering the resolution of an image generated based on a signal output by the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The resolution of a signal output by a plurality of unit cells which are within an imaging region and out of a phase difference detection region is lowered more than that of a signal output by a plurality of unit cells in a phase difference detection region within an imaging region. |
