PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform notification when a portable terminal receives an impact due to the accident of a vehicle.SOLUTION: When it is determined that a portable terminal is installed in a charging pad in a step S1, and it is determined that the portable terminal is set in a normal mode in a step S2, the portable terminal is set in an automatic notification mode in a step S3. On the other hand, when it is determined that the portable terminal is not installed in the charging pad in the step S1, and it is determined that the portable terminal is set in the automatic notification mode in a step S6, a timeout time is set in a step S7, and when it is determined that the timeout time has passed in a step S10, the portable terminal is set in the normal mode in a step S11. This invention may be applied to, for example, a portable terminal which performs automatic notification at the occurrence of the accident of a vehicle. |
