<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary notification of water exchange when no water remains in a feed water tank.SOLUTION: A humidifier includes: a feed water tank attachable/detachable to/from a body to store water: attachment/detachment detection means for detecting whether or not the feed water tank is mounted to the body; water detection means for detecting presence/absence of water within the feed water tank; notification means for providing notification that water exchange within the feed water tank is necessary; and control means for controlling the notification means on the basis of detection results from the attachment/detachment detection means and the water detection means. The control means counts a duration when the feed water tank is mounted to the body and water is present within the feed water tank, and makes the notification means provide notification that water exchange is necessary if the counted time is a first predetermined time or longer.</p> |
