<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone apparatus profitable for both a call-originating side and a call-incoming side by avoiding disconnection at a time when the opposite party does not respond to a call for a fixed period after the call is originated.SOLUTION: When a call-originating-side telephone set 2 comes into an on-hook state a predetermined period after a response from a call-incoming-side telephone set 3, a telephone apparatus 10(a controller 11 of a main apparatus 1) continues the speech of the call-incoming-side telephone set 3, and informs the call-originating-side telephone set 2 that the call-incoming-side telephone set 3 has made a response. While the speech of the call-incoming-side telephone set 3 is continued, the call-originating-side telephone set 2 is kept in a receiving state.</p> |
