Provided is a photo-initiator of formula (I), wherein PI is a photo-initiator group containing an aromatic ring capable of initiating a free-radical polymerization reaction when being exposed to actinic radiation, and is connected to Y through the aromatic ring; Y is CH2, CO, C(O) CH2O, C(O)CH2S or C(O)CH2CH2S, and the right end of the group is connected to PI; G is a residue of an acrylate or a polyol acrylate other than an ethylenic bond; R is a C1-C12 alkyl, or a C4-C12 alkyl interrupted by O, S or NR'; R' is a C1-C12 alkyl or a phenyl; n is an integer of 1-6; m is an integer of 1-6 and less than or equal to n; and p is an integer of 0-4 and less than m. Also provided is a photo-curing composition comprising the photo-initiator of formula (I). The photo-initiator of formula (I) is characterized by a very low mobility.
