<p>A protective sleeve (1) is provided with: an adhesive tube (11) having thermal plasticity and accommodating a fusion spliced part (23) of an optical fiber; a first tensile strength body (12) with a main component of glass or a ceramic; a second tensile strength body (13) with a main component of a metal; and a thermal-shrink protective tube (10) that accommodates the adhesive tube (11) and the first and second tensile strength bodies (12, 13). One surface (12a) of the first tensile strength body (12) forms a flat surface, and another surface (12b) forms a curved surface with an arc shaped cross-section. The adhesive tube (11) is provided on the one surface (12a) side, and the volume of the second tensile strength body (13) is smaller than the volume of the first tensile strength body (12).</p> |
